Just an observation but wouldn’t that knot at the feet be a snag risk so close to the ground? Maybe latch it one of the grommets higher up on the foot region to get it up off the ground.
It’s a light weight device so it is used in natural disasters, wilderness rescue and more. It is definitely popular in the confined space world. It along with the Yates spec pack.
We use it for snow rescue, but its pretty versatile and we use it for heli-rescue too. Its great that its light weight. Just cinch it to the top of my pack and go.
Can you use the loops (rope handles) incorporates through the backboard to do a horizontal lift? Maybe put a carib and lift?
